My dear, I have been here since 14 November 1940 and I am well, which I also wish for you. Please pay close attention to the instructions on the envelope. I can buy everything, just not with Polish money. Write only to my exact, full address. I will write more next time. Warm greetings and kisses. Yours, Heinrich.”

“The Banquet at Sundmann’s” is an interdisciplinary project that brings together theatre, virtual reality, and experimental film. It is based on private archives and documentation related to an abandoned family estate in Szamotuły. The work was first presented as a stage performance with immersive elements and later transformed into a film version.
The project explores questions of individual and collective memory, the role of space, and the shifting sense of belonging.
