Marta Sundmann (b. 1999) – an interdisciplinary artist working with moving image, post-photography, and object. In her practice, she explores the relationship between film, new media, and nostalgia. She is interested in personal and collective memory and how past experiences are inscribed in matter and images.
She obtained her Master's degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, at the Faculty of Media Art. She is a graduate of Bachelor's studies at the Academy of Art in Szczecin and participated in a year-long exchange at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst in Leipzig. She lives and works in Warsaw.
Her works have been presented, among others, at TRAFO in Szczecin (2021), SKD Dresden (2023), Creative Practice Centre in Taiwan (2023), Młode Wilki festival (2023), FRINGE (2024), Spectra Art Space SOON_ (2025).
